Ilona's artistic journey with alcohol inks began ten years ago, when she saw the incredibly vibrant paintings her sister-in-law had created with them. She immediately went to work exploring the many techniques used with this fairly new medium, learning to master a medium that can seem uncontrollable.

Ilona is currently working with Sherri on illustrating a children's book.
